Who we sell to, and how each one buys
Eight segments, ordered by current pipeline weight. Each buys differently — on evaluated cost, on schedule, or against a funding condition that decides whether we can bid at all. Filter by what applies to you.
Electric cooperatives & G&T co-ops
Distribution co-ops and their G&T often run separate procurements, with the G&T holding the larger transmission-class purchases.
Data centre, colocation & AI compute
Capital is usually private and unrestricted, which generally leaves imported equipment eligible.
EPCs & electrical contractors
The transformer is bought against the owner’s specification, with requirements flowed down through the subcontract.
Electrical distributors
Placement on the line card, with the distributor quoting into its own customer base rather than bidding projects directly.
Heavy industry
Replacement of ageing in-plant substation transformers, often identified by condition assessment or oil analysis rather than by a capital plan.
Universities, hospitals & campus utilities
Central plant and campus distribution assets, frequently maintained by a small in-house utilities team.
Renewables & storage developers
Generation step-up transformers sized to the plant’s point of interconnection rather than to a distribution standard.

Domestic content, stated once
Transformers we supply are of foreign manufacture and do not qualify as domestic end products. They are not compliant with Buy America, Build America Buy America, RUS domestic-content rules or comparable state requirements. Segments marked “check domestic content” above are the ones where this most often decides eligibility.
