Data centre, colocation & AI compute

On most of these builds the transformer, not the construction, sets the energisation date. Eight months against a 2.5 to 4 year domestic quote is the entire reason to talk to us.

Procurement reality

How this segment buys

  • Capital is usually private and unrestricted, which generally leaves imported equipment eligible.
  • The schedule is the commercial driver — every month of delay to energisation is a month of deferred revenue on the hall.
  • Purchase is often placed by the developer, or by the EPC on the developer’s behalf, against the utility’s interconnection requirements.
  • Buyers want a delivered price they can compare against a domestic delivered price without unpicking freight and duty.

What we bring to it

Where we fit

  • Approximately 8 months from order release, with a dated schedule rather than a hopeful one.
  • DDP to site quotable, so freight, insurance, customs entry and duty are inside the number and tariff risk sits with us between quotation and delivery.
  • Routine tests per IEEE C57.12.90 on every unit, with certificates per serial number for the commissioning pack.
  • Witnessed factory acceptance testing, which lets you take schedule risk out before the unit ships.

Before you evaluate us

What to settle first

Confirm the interconnection and utility acceptance requirements early — where the serving utility imposes its own standard specification on the transformer, we will respond to it clause by clause. If any part of the project draws on federal funding, check domestic-content conditions first.

Our units are of foreign manufacture and do not qualify as domestic end products. The eligibility checker on the Trade & Compliance page answers this in three questions.
